Subject: The elect love unconditional election Lk. 4:25-27... Will worshipers hate it. Lk. 4:28-30

wonderfully, Sovereign grace requires that God does the giving
while man does the receiving, apart from works.  Eph. 2:8,9

on this basis alone, God is pleased to act in unmerited favor
towards hardened sinner's simply because it's His good pleasure to do
so ( Eph. 1:3-14 ) while the objects of His pardon are all together
passive, contributing nothing to His grace, lest man should boast.

when Jesus broached the subject of unconditional election in Luke
Chapter 4, His hearers became " enraged " and tried to throw Him over
a cliff.

in like manner, when the non-elect hear of any doctrine that doesn't
give them at least part of the glory, such as God's plan of election
according to grace... unconditional election... they too become
enraged, and would rather send the preachers of free grace over a
cliff, along with the Savior they pretend to worship...

just as the Law keeping Jews in the synagogue at Nazareth.

huh, so devoted were they that they simply lost sight of " Thou
shalt not kill " when they took Jesus to throw Him over a cliff.

so devoted to will worship are these today, that they forget all
that is ' holy ' of which they pretend to preach, and would rather
murder Christ and His salvation by grace followers.

their contention against grace shows they've not received grace.
